Expo 2025 Osaka was an extraordinary opportunity to photograph world-class pavilion architecture gathered in one place. Held on Yumeshima Island, the exposition brought together architects and designers from across the globe.

Highlights of the shoot include the Portugal Pavilion designed by Kengo Kuma and the Grand Ring (the largest wood structure in the world designed by Sou Fujimoto) serving as the symbolic heart of the expo. I also took the opportunity to photograph the UAE, Japan, Qatar and Saudi Arabia pavilions.
