Wind swept creek

On top of the regional troubles I am sure everybody knows about by now, for the last few days we have been dealing with a string of storms that dumped quite a bit of rain throughout Dubai and the UAE.

Last night was the worse (at least in our neighbourhood), but just before things started, I went out to make some photographs of the skyline from a location I haven’t shot from before. The wind was really strong (as you can see from the ripples in the water) which made this scene interesting for me.
