Earlier this year, I spent a few days in Riyadh photographing a couple of the newly opened Saudi metro stations and one of the stations was the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) stop designed by Zaha Hadid Architects.
It’s a beautiful piece of architecture designed in the unmistakable style of the late Zaha Hadid and I could have spent days just finding interesting angles in and out of the station. I settled on the image above as the first one I am sharing as I think the Saudi man in the photograph gives it a bit of a sense of scale and place.
